AWQAF SA 100 BALL CRICKET TOURNAMENT KICKS OFF WITH NEW EXCITING INNOVATIONS TOMORROW.

Friday sees the start of the annual AWQAF SA Youth Cricket Tournament held in association with Primrose Cricket Club and endorsed by Western Province Cricket Association. First held in 2015, the annual tournament grew to become one of the biggest youth cricket tournaments in South Africa. In its last pre-COVID edition of 2019, 68 teams and 1,000 players were hosted during the four days.

The tournament is free for participants and offers equal opportunity to all, irrespective of their financial or social backgrounds. The ethos of the 4-day Tournament aims to promote social cohesion and is designed to give the young players a sense of cricket heritage that instils within them the values of social justice using sport as a vehicle.

Follow the games by visiting the Awqaf 100 Ball Youth Cricket Interactive Tournament website for livestream or live-scoring. You can also view the Tournament brochure as well as pics and highlights of the days events.
